The EVO-A-UTAC Compact model is a low profile antenna for LOS communications within the 200 to 512 MHz band with VSWR less than 3.5:1 over all band. It achieves very high performance without any matching circuit, thanks to the vertical broadband multi-whip structure. Like the previous EVO-A-UTAC, it is specifically designed for harsh conditions use: the construction with elastic radials makes it particularly robust in case of mechanical stress, even very strong, while its “multiple” radiant structure makes it particularly resistant to accidental damage due to fire actions, thanks to the redundancy of the radiating elements. Its extremely small size combined with the very high radiation efficiency for its category makes it the ideal radiant system for mobile communications in tactical UHF band, for all legacy carriers in use.
